Rule 8
Groups and subgroups
(1) For the purpose of sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the Act, the groups and sub-groups containing posts of the same nature within the service based on the nature of the work of the service, the minimum qualification required to perform it and the specifics of the work shall be as mentioned in Schedule-4. Amended by Second Amendment.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), in the case of employees who are in the service, group and sub-group at the time of commencement of this rule, the qualification prescribed for them to enter such group and sub-group shall be considered as the minimum qualification for the purpose of this rule.
